Default Wiring rear hatch speakers:

I am installing the Alpine SPS 100A's in the rear hatch of a 98 T/A. The new speakers have 3 posts on the positive side, and 2 posts on the negative side. What posts should the existing wires be soldered to, i.e. the old tweeter wires, and the old main main speaker wires. Appreciate your help. By the way, I am keeping the Monsoon amp, and the OEM H/U, all that I am doing is replacing the factory speakers. Thanks

Well, it was easy for me as Camaro's don't have tweeters back there.

I'd use either the 2 tweeter wires (which come directly from the H/U) or the two midrange wires (which come thru the Monsoon amp). Try both and see which sounds better. They should be both full-range signals. I don't see an advantage to bi-wiring them as you do when installing 170A's in the doors.

As far as the terminals on the speaker, the middle ones are really only there to provide mounting points for the capacitor and tweeter connections (cap is used as a passive crossover to block the low frequencies to the tweeter). Use the two outer most terminals (one positive, one negative).

If I use the 2 midrange wires and connect to the new speaker, should I cut the wires that go to the old tweeter since the Alpines have their own tweeter?

You can. Or you can leave them be. You'll have to decide what sounds best to you.
