P/S Sub Not Working

P/S Sub Not Working The drivers side works but is blown 
but the passenger side is just not working. It cuts in for like 2 seconds every once in a blue moon and sounds great but never stays on. Ive pulled it out and checked the connections on the speaker and they still have the factory solder on them perfectly intact. Anyone know what the hell the problem is?

well if the driver's side is blown and the other cuts in and out, its could be you have the gain turned up too high. Too much power and it will cut out, turn the radio down also, see if that works. This is just a simple thing some people forget about, happens to us all....

Im talking about the sail panel sub (?) that was factory. I think thats what its called. They are on either side of the back bucket seats. Thanks for a reply though!

Monsoon doesnt have a adjustable gain.
Could be a number of things.
It could be the tensile wire connecting the terminal to the voice coil.
If it was me, I would move the passengers side speaker to the drivers side.
That way you can trouble shoot it down to the actual speaker or the wiring.
Since you have one blown already you might as well order a pair of aftermarkets.
The FAQ at the top has alot of good information about doing this.
