Head Unit help

I have the monsoon CD hu in my car. I noticed last night that it's starting to skip after a few songs. It's fine for 1 or 2 songs then it skips frantically. Then goes silent and spits out the cd. Then shows a code EO2.

Is my HU dying or does it just need to be cleaned?

A good cleaning couldn't hurt. Sounds like something is getting in the way of the mechanism inside there.

CD Player cleaning kit is the cheapest way to go. If that doesn't work then time to buy a new one! Most likely would be about the same cost vs getting it fixed.
