Quick Question
No I do not have steering wheel controls.
What do yall think would sound better. Replacing the 6 speakers and leaving everything else stock.
Or replacing the headunit and replacing the 4 speakers up front and run them off the headunit.
A third possibility is replacing all the speakers and the headunit, but I'm not sure if I want to spend that much. But in comparison to the other two options, how would that sound?
Head unit = greatly reduced distortion to the monsoon amp
Fronts = greatly improved clarity in the midrange and actual treble
The monsoon amp is stronger than any head unit amps except maybe the new Panny's with the digital amps. It is not the weak link in the monsoon.
I would recommend replacing the sail panel subs, but I don't think it is a good value to replace them. You're better off putting the money towards a stealthbox or some other modest sub arrangement.
