speaker help please

speaker help please 1999 trans am, I blew one of my rear subs so i replaced it with a jl 6w0.
now im getting a slight buzz through both subs at low- mid volume, any ideas
I have a 2nd 6w0 on order should be here tomorrow, but would mixing the 6w0 and the stock dvc sub casue some interference? any input, also how should the 6wos be wired, currently I have the installed one wired using just one set of wires the others are capped should I use both sets ?

Is it too late to cancel the order?
Just sell the otherone and get yourself an Image Dynamics IDQ 12 and call it a day. They're relatively inexpensive (especially when compared to JL) and sound incredible.

Your stock speakers were dual voice coil with the 2 coils driven independantly from the Monsoon Amp. If you hooked both pairs if wires to your 6W0, that's probably your mistake. You only want to use the inputs for one of the stock voice coils. I don't think it matters which one.

no i only has 1 par hooked up and the other pair capped, i did fidn the problem though
the + speaker wire was touching the back of the striker screw, so I turned the speaker 90 degrees and all is good
put the other one in too, wow what a diffrence that made now im gonna have to upgrade the rest of them
