Hardwire a PS2... How?
Hardwire a PS2... How? I need to hard wire a PS2 in the Yukon, I don't want to use a power inverter.. So, How is it done? Is there a special cable I need?

I'm taking a stab at it but don't the ps2's have a a/c to d/c inverter inside.. couldn't you take the inverter out and figure out the dc req. to run the ps2 and setup the fuses needed to run said amount of power. In fact I get off work in 10 min I'll swing by my friend's and grab his busted *** ps2 then take it home and let you know for certain.

are you talking about the new slim cool version or the old school big box?
EDIT. Also you can hardwire a converter to your car so you don't have to plug it into a ciggarette lighter. All you'd have to do is cut the plug off wire it to a fused source and plug the ps2 into the converter.. Or did you want to bypass the converter altogheter?
