Subs not hitting right!?!

Subs not hitting right!?! I just sold my 99 mustang for a 02 trans am. I had 2 subs in my mustang that were connected to my stock stereo. when the beat hit the sound was off by just enough where it really got on my nerve. 
I took it out before I sold my car but I dont know if I want to get it installed again if its going to be off. Does anybody know how to hook it up to a monsoon stereo where it will hit right?

IMO if you want it to sound as good as possible id get a head unit with RCA's. It sounds like you had the polarity reversed on one or both of your subs in the Mustang. Were you using an amp with the speaker level inputs?
You will need to get a PAC adaptor and run it off the imput off your stock speakers.
You will have to have an additional power supply for the subs, but it should work fine.
