double checking tried FAQ

double checking tried FAQ I just picked up some Alpine SPS 17c2s for the front doors as mine are blown and need replacing.
Now I am ready to install but I just heard that with these new speakers *replaced the 170as used in the writeups/FAQs,* that these do not need the wiring done and just bolt up?
Yea Nay on this bolt up?
I've read that alot of people use these newer SPS 17c2s just wanted to check if i need to mess with them first!
