Default Help with alarm

Normally when I set the alarm the car honks twice. Two days ago it started to just honk once. By the way its the factory alarm. Has this happened to anyone and do you know how to fix it?

If it only honks once, something isn't closed correctly. Open and close both boors and the hatch. Usually the problem is caused by the hatch.

This is correct....happened to me a couple of times and found out my hatch was partially open, due to me hitting the stupid button with my knee either getting in or out. What a dumb spot for the release button.
