Default Buying new remote

I don't have the remote to lock/unlock my car and read that i needed to go to the dealership to buy a new one for like 80 bucks incl. programming. Can I just go and tell them I just want the remote and will do the programming myself (i have seen the instructions posted here) or do you think they will give me a hard time?

Default

You can get one from a dealer, or get one on ebay, or anywhere else - whatever the case you can program it yourself as long as your car has RPO code AU0 (remote entry lock control) and you get the right remote. Welcome to the board.
