Default Battery Dieing Need Help

Hey guys I have a 2001 WS6 and all of a sudden the battery started to die on me. I purchased a new one, but that one dies too. The only electrical mods would be my JL audio amp and a pioneer indash screen. I disconnected the fuse to the amp and I am still having the problem. Any ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Have your alternator tested.

Did it just reciently start to happen? If so, it sounds mostly like the alternator.

To do a test yourself, put a Voltmeter on the + battery post and watch the voltage. (car running) If it drops while it runs, steady drop, the alternator is dead or dying. You could also take it to an Autozone and have them do a test for you.

I would take the fuses out of ALL aftermarket stuff (alarm, stereo, radar, etc) you have installed and leave them out. Charge the battery and see if your still having trouble.

Post up the results and we can trouble shoot from there.
