Whats up everyone,
Whenever i lock my car (99 Z28), it will do the two beeps, then pause for a couple seconds and beep another two times. my friends drive a 98 and 99 Z28 and neither or theres do the two delayed beeps. is there a way to change it so it doesnt do that? thanks for the help.

When my hatch isn't fully closed, it only beeps once when arming it from the remote. There's a bunch of different "Modes" you can program in the owners manual but didn't see delayed/secondary beeps when glancing through mine. Maybe start from scratch and reprogram? Just in case you need a manual http://shbox.com/pdf/manuals.html An alarm that goes off with lights and horns just after arming is usually a bad shock sensor.
