Alpine Type X Componets
Alpine Type X Componets I am upgading my Infinity Componets (6000cs) due to the lack of midbass. I heard the Alpine Type R (SPR-17LS) and they sound great installed in a Montero Sport. The Alpine Type X (SPX-177R) are not that much more and have more configurable crossovers. I was wonder I anyone has any experience with them?

Alpine hasnt really impressed me, especially recently.
Try to listen to a set of Image Dynamics. They sound great and dont cost a arm and a leg.
I also like MB Quarts. For the price the lower line cannot be beat.
See if any of your local audio shops have them to see if you like them for yourself.
