Amp remote turn on with Monsoon When installing an additional amp to my '99 Z28 with monsoon yesterday I found that I did not have a pin to put into the connector in back of the factory radio. I live out in the country and I didn't want to drive into town to find a pin.
The solution I found was to de-pin one wire from an unused connector that is on the same harness as the left rear hatch speaker.
Just wanted to put this out there for anyone that is adding an amp and keeping the rest of the monsoon system working off the factory amp.
