Need suggestions on which head unit...
*play Mp3's
*Have an AUX input in the front
*Equalizer built in (which at that price all do I guess)
*At least 180 watts
*A decent LCD display
Remote, removeable/motorized face plate are not important to me. I am not going to build a champion system but I want it to be halfway decent. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

*play Mp3's
- this is a given these days, no issue.
*Have an AUX input in the front
- this single feature kills off 99% of your options. Very few good quality head units have an actual 3.5mm plug on the front face. I would highly recommend considering units with a rear AUX input and running/mounting the plug somewhere else - even in the dash kit if you want it up front. Get over this and your options increase greatly.
*Equalizer built in (which at that price all do I guess)
- 3 bands are most common. You want more than that?
*At least 180 watts
- Pretty much all of the current mainstream h/u's have very similar power output. Some claim higher peaks but if you look at RMS they are almost all within 15-20rms. If you really need h/u power then the only exceptionally strong amps are in the new Panasonics with the digital amp section. Something like 70w/channel peak I think.
*A decent LCD display
- What do you mean by decent? Clearly legible in all light? Or flashy with graphics or images?
