sail panel speaker question
sail panel speaker question im getting a second amp to run 6 1/2s in the doors and 5x7 in the hatch area. i am also removing the stock amp, i was wondering if it would be ok to hook up the speakers in the sail panels to the new amp or if i should just remove those speakers also.
i do not know much about stereo stuff, so sorry if this is a stupid question.

Just disconnect the sail pannel speakers, they are useless as subs. They are too close to the front to act as fill speakers. I replaced my system reciently and used 6.5" components in the rear hatch for fill and MB Quart's in the front.
so they are only low range speakers in the sail panel? if thats the case, then i'll just remove them because i have 2 10 in subs. the door speakers are 6 1/2 components. i just wasnt sure if it would sound better if i left the sail panel speakers in or not.
