Monsson help Heres the deal. My fronts work fine, the back seat speakers seem to not be putting anyhting but bass out, the hatch tweeters work but the hatch regular speakers are dead. Is this a amp or deck issue?
The back seat speakers are crossed over at the monsoon amp, they only provide bass. That is normal. The front tweeters are powered by the H/U, and the front mids are powered by the monsoon amp. I'm not sure how the hatch mids are powered, there has been some debate. If it's from the monsoon amp, maybe you have a bad channel? If you have an old speaker lying around, try it out and see if the mids are just shot? Just an idea.

ok, sounds like ym amp is screwed up cause the hatch subs get no sound at all and the back seat subs are only getting a slight bass sound through them very weak though.

IN the Firebird setup, there are pair of tweeters in the rear hatch area as well as the 4" mids. Like the door tweeters, these are driven by the head unit. SO if he has nothing back there, it is not likely the amplifier. I'd check the simple things first, like checking the wire harness for problems. If you still hear bass from the sail panels, but nothing at all from the rear hatch area, it almost has to be in the wiring. Or you have 4 dead speakers back there.
