Default Making steering wheel bottons work?

Well im changing my bottoned 94 firebird wheel to a bottoned 96 one in a few days here (niether work with my headunit) a Kenwood KDC-MP828 (05 model) I was wondering how I would go about getting it to work its a nice feature id love to have working

As it says in the FAQ sticky at the top of the forum - you can use a PAC SWI-X adapter as long as your aftermarket head unit came with a remote control.
