Thanks to my bro in law I finally got some pics of my system. The specs are in the sig. Being that it was a rainny day the red back lit amps and under dash red neons did not show up. I know the car, and the garage are dirty btw
Sorry about the sizes its just what he uploaded for me. Let me know what you guys think. The sub trim panels are suede flocked and the base is carpeted. The guy that did the install made sure that I could still put the T-tops in the trunk when I wanted too ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)

oooo I hate you Alan....
I had been wondering about a setup just like that except I was trying to decide if I could cram a 15" on each side....
damnit that's a hot setup... does your brother in law have a shop or did you guys do this in the garage? I've never done fiberglass but I can't wait, I just want to find someone to hold my hand through the first time....

Nope Bro in law just took the pics and hosted them for me. I work for a A/V and Car audio place called Tweeter etc. I got everything for pretty much cost or less and my installer gave me a crazy good deal on labor and materials for the glass work and paint. His name is Mike.. you can see he ghosted in his sig above the firebird logo.

Yeah no prob.. The 1000.1 and the 450.4 are the sames size and fit like you see there, a 300.2 is smaller so it shouldn't be a prob. Notice though that I did take out the plastic sides with the speakers from the trunk. There are countless ways to mount stuff, it really just comes down to what you want, the installer creativity, and what you are willing to pay.

Well first off what I spent and what the system is worth are two completly differant things being that I work in the industry. Lets just say the system retail before any discounting would be between $8.5k-$9k. Thats gear, parts, and labor. I'll break down most of what I would have spent retail. The balance is labor. As for a system that you would want, thats not for me to answer. You should go to a store, listen to some systems, see what you like and do some research. It's all in the "eye" of the beholder. What I like and what you like may be to two completly differant things and so may be our budgets. Depending on your budget we may be able to give you some ideas... music tastes help too.

Nice looking install. Did you really need the two capacitors? I'm guessing maybe one for the 1000.1 but the 450 didnt really need it does it? I'm having a new alternator built and wondering if I should get a cap. I'm pushing 600 rms from one amp and can turn full charge into total drain at half volume. I have a Phoenix Gold Xenon 400.4. 200 rms to the fronts, bridged 400 rms to the sub. Daimond hex's 600's and a BA G5.

During highway speeds (2800 rpm ish) when I crank the system it still goes down to like 8-9amps. Nice set up btw I have heard a ton of good stuff about Diamond.
