Factory monsoon/ cd changer question

Factory monsoon/ cd changer question i want to plug my Ipod into my car static free and keep the stock head unit, i have the monsoon 10 speaker system in my car. I found thing thing

that plugs to where a cd changer would go. Only problem is that at the bottom of the page it says it needs a "source or AUX' button to switch to it(which i dont have). Question is how would you switch to a cd changer if your car had one w/ the 10 speaker monsoon??? My main question is will that work. and could you even get a cd changer w/ 10 speaker monsoon in the ta's?

SInce the F'bird and Camaro head units are different, I can't tell you exactly which button this is. I only know that your '02 T/A has one. On the steering wheel controls, use the PLAY button to alternate between the HU CD player and the AUX input.

The button you're looking for is labeled "CD/Play" on Firebirds. If you had the external CD changer then one press would switch to the internal single CD and a second press would switch to the external CD changer. As HiTechGent said, the "Play" button on the steering wheel does the same thing.
Yes, any 00-02 head unit can have a CD changer or an auxiliary input when using an adapter. Compatibility varies in earlier model years. The USA Spec adapter will work fine in your car.
