Viper fan install

Viper fan install I'm almost done installing a Viper fan into my '02 Corvette, but I'm not sure about the connector. The Viper adaptor takes 3 wires, a light green, dark green and black; the COrvette only has 2 wires going to the fan though. I think the Viper colors are for a low and high speed connection. I'm trying to finish this today, how should I connect it?

This link shows some diagrams to connect it to a Dakota, there's also a picture of the Viper diagram; in case someone can help me interpret this.

OK, I think I figured it out, but I'd like an opinion. The center wire should be for the high speed setting, so if I connect my hot wire to that the fan will always run in high speed.
Does anyone think I need to get relays or heavier gauge wire to make this work?
