Problem with Raptor Shift Light

Problem with Raptor Shift Light I've been running a Raptor Shift Light for ~6 months now and it has been functioning perfectly in my 1998 SS Camaro. My shift light is set at 6700 and the rev limiter is set at 7200. It was working flawlessly before my recent 4.11 gear install, but now I'm having issues.
The light isn't working in 1st or 2nd gear. It comes on at startup like it's supposed to, but the new rear-end gears make first and second gears go by so quickly that the car reaches it's limiter before the light comes on. The tachometer on the car is slow as well, could this be the cause? I was under the impression that the light was activated at the engine's actual RPM, not the one represented on the stock (slow) tach. The stock tachometer can keep up with the engine in 3rd and 4th gears, and in these gears, the shift light works perfectly.
Is there any way to remedy my issues with 1st and 2nd gear? The shift light is ultra-nice to have and really makes driving easier, so you can imagine my surprise and disappointment when I noticed that I was reaching the rev limiter before the shift light activated. Anybody else have this problem? If so - what can I do to fix it?
