Default Removing dash bulbs.
I recently added long tubes to my car. Along with that I removed my cruise/asr. I also plan on ditching the abs when I add a line lock. So I took out my gauge cluster and used a soldering iron to pull the abs/tcs/skipshift and low traction lights. I was just wondering if this will have any effect on the car. Will it throw any codes or anything?

nope. ditched my abs inop light and low traction light. no probs here. i just took my bulbs out though

one question. you stated you used a soldering iron to remove them. why didnt you just remove the plastic cover and pull the bulbs out?

There are main bulbs that just twist out, but for many of them there are smaller bulbs that are soldered to the board.

hey how do i go about removing the bulbs, i just want to take out the traction control light and abs light as i have installed a 9" rear

Good to know cuz i had my cluster out before to remove the tcs amd abs lights and couldnt figure out for the life of me how to get the little bulbs out
