Question factory alarm

is there a way to adjust the alarm on my 2000 camaro
i'v even got in and out before without it goin off

There are different settings for how the alarm arms itself. Dig out your owners manual and read up.

Verts at least (maybe coupes too?) have a shock sensor mounted in the spare tire area. It is adjustable. How it is secured to the body is also important, it is a very basic shock sensor.

well when i bought the car the owners manual wasn't with it.Is there a link or site i can go to, to get some info ???
