Headlight installation on a bird...
Headlight installation on a bird... Hey, I know this is a really easy job, but I wnated to know, how would i go about doing it. Should I do it with the headlights on and popped up or should I turn the headlights on and pop them up then disconnect the battery and work from there? Or manually popup the headlights? Thanks for the help...

Depending on how quick you are you may want to disconnect the battery after turning the headlights on to pop them up - only to avoid the possibility of running the battery down while you're working. You don't have to worry about shorts or other electrical problems because the connectors are well insulated. If you don't disconnect the battery then do this: turn the headlights on then move the switch to the park position - the headlights will stay up but won't be on (so they don't get hot to touch).
