Yes and no. It will fit and it will plug in but there are differences. The Camaro head units are black with black controls and blue/white illumination. The Firebird HUs are dark gray with gray controls and red illumination. So swapping them won't match the interior or the dash lighting.
There are also minor feature differences. The speed controlled volume of the Camaro HU won't work in a Firebird because Firebirds don't have the VSS wire in their harness. Similarly, the Camaro doesn't have the power antenna wire in its harness like the Firebirds do.
