I am replacing my stock monsoon setup and have no idea as to what the stock monsoon amp location is. Could someone please help me out? Also, if someone could provide a link as to a wiring diagram so that I know what wires are what with regards to the stereo system (or cut and paste it here) I woulkd be very greatfull.

Oh, it's a 98 Z28 with the "8 speaker" system

It's in front of the spare tire.

The amp is in under the plastic trim in front of the spare tire. The stereo harness pin-out is in the frequently asked questions thread at the top of the forum.

I will look again. I can't believe that I didn't notice it as that is where I mounted my nitrous bottle (took out the spare). Maybe I left the plastic piece alone and therefore missed it. Regardless, thanks!
