how do you take out the door panel speaker?

how do you take out the door panel speaker?

i tried taking it out from just taking the grill off, but the speaker is set into that pocket pretty good with the door panel in the way. how do you go about taking it out?

I took the door panel off to get mine out. I don't remember if it is required to do so, but it was a snap once I was in there. There are a lot of good how-to threads on taking the doors apart. What exactly do you have?

im doing a favor for my cousins 98 z28. i figured taking apart the door panel would be the best, but how do i get them off? i was doing some searches but no luck any links?

Here's a great guide to replacing window motors that includes instructions for removing the door panel. btw. the door speaker grill was not supposed to be seperated from the door panel. You may have to glue it back in.

yea. the top and bottom parts seemed stuck, however the sides were just like the sail panel grills. so now the top is broken haha. but it stays on there ok
