Cd Changer for monsoon.

Cd Changer for monsoon. I took the 12disk delco cd changer out of my camaro and put it in my t/a (the camaro has an aftermarket hu and can't use it.)
It seemed to power up fine and all, the head unit recognizes it and such but I get errors. Anything special i have to do to make it work? I hear it is compatible (i realized i only used burned cds for testing, will have to try a non-cdr when i get a chance.)
Any other ideas?

OK. This is probably a silly question, but did you remember to put the CD's in the cartridge label side down?
You might try pulling the unit out, carefully removing the cover and try spraying to out with a can of compressed air or electronics spray to clean out any dirt or debris that may be gumming up the works.
