i recently bought a 2000 ss conv with the monsoon system in it. the front speakers are just about blown so i bought some mb quarts on ebay for all 4 including the componets, tweeter said i have to change out the headunit to do the rewiring correctly but i know theres way to cross the wires help me out please so i dont have to spend alot of money!!!!

No, you don't. There are four wires going to each speaker. 1 pair for each tweeter, 1 pair for each woofer.
Hook them up appropriately and you'll be fine. You should just pull you speakers, cut the wiring harnesses, and solder them up to your mb's, using the mb crossovers, of course.
It'll sound alot better than stock but you don't need that good of a speaker in back (free air, no bass), and the head unit makes a lot of distortion.
