Default Need some help with H/U and Speaker Install

I have some questions and have searched and searched with so many different results its difficult to wade through all the results.
Basically I have a 99 T/A with monsoon system, I am getting an Alpine 9846 unit, with 6.75 Polk component speakers for the doors and 6.75 Polks for the rear seat sail panels.
Question is Can I use the Monsoon Amp and wiring to just power the new speakers with the amp, keep existing speaker wiring in place and speed the install. If so can someone point me in the right direction.
Also where do you all mount your crossover box for the components, I am thinking of mounting in hatch area and wiring back to the front doors for the tweeters.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

You can still use the monsoon amp, just use the right wiring harness. Depending on the sensitivity of the speakers you bought, it may not sound that great. The monsoon amp is meant to run 2 ohms, but with the right sensitivity of speaker you can get away with 4 ohm.
You won't need the crossovers if you use the monsoon amp. It is already crossed over internally.
Oh, you will only get bass from the sail panel speakers, if you use the stock set-up, so choose what you put in there wisely.

Thanks man
Basically This is what I have on order.
For the Front Doors Polk db6750's
92 dB
Frequency Response 35 - 23k Hz
RMS Power Range (Watts) 10-100
Peak Power Handling (Watts) 300
Impedance (Ohms) 4
Rear Seat Sail Panels
Polk db675's
92 dB
Frequency Response 35 - 22k Hz
RMS Power Range (Watts) 6-60
Peak Power Handling (Watts) 180
What I am wondering is how involved is it to just completely yank the entire monsoon out, wiring and all and rewire the fronts and rears from the Alpine 9846 H/U
I am on a tight budget and don't have an amp for the components and usually components like more power than what a headunit will supply.

I think with a good H/U, you will be OK with the monsoon amp. Some of the other guys on the board have used Alpine 4 OHMs up front with the monsoon amp, and had good results. I'm just not sure on the difference in specs between the two. (yours and theirs).
I don't think you should wire right to the H/U, the monsoon amp will provide more power, and won't sound to bad with a clean signal from the Alpine H/U.
I used Infinity Kappas (2 ohm) components in my doors with the monsoon amp for a bit, and they sounded pretty good. Then I got a four channel amp, and they sound even better.
