Default Need Help or Advice Quick..

Hiya, I just swapped out my old Alternator with a Alternator from an Auto parts store. As i have read, the most common problem is ripping out the exicter wire..which i did. I have read many post and searched alot but not found a solution on How to fix it? Do i have to get a new wire or can i reuse or mock up on in place of it? If i need a new wire, where does it feed to? Thanks guys. (its on a 99 TA)

Perhaps a GM part number for a new connector? TTT

Perhaps they should make a sticky on this..The only solution to fix the issue is to get another wire and butt-cap it to the old one. The Exciter wire is $28 from a dealer here in Des moines, IA. Thanks to those who offered their opinion in the older threads.
