strange headlight problems

strange headlight problems today I noticed my headlights were on in broad daylight but w/o the parking lites or the fogs even though I had fog switch on.Anyone have idea whats going on ? Tonite they started working normally. 
Are you aware there is a sensor in your dash to tell the car when it's night time? Are you also aware of the Daytime Running Lights on our cars? Neither of these questions is intended to sound stupid, just to let you know they exist.

headlight weirdness Yep, already knew that. It was 12:00 noon in bright sunlite when I pulled up behind a truck & could see that my headlites were on but not the park lites , which are supposed to be on all the time. I have now lost confidence in the camaro's electronics. What next, no lites at night doing 80MPH ?
