Mines all put back together but now my digital camara is acting up of course.

Here's all the pictures I have right now of the install. http://www.projectcamaro.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=8114

Unfortunitly the camara died before I could get pictures of the amp rack.

edit: Oh hey, infinite. I was just curious. There is an led screen of sorts on the amp im getting. Do you think that would be changeable to red? I'd assume if anyone would have a clue, you'd be the guy to ask. lol
I'd do 5% on sides and 5% on back. It no harder backing up at night on a dark road with 5% versus double 5%. It's more difficult to see out the back, but you get use to it. I still know when a cop's headlights are behind me so I know to act normal. What is REALLY nice about it is that I don't have to flip up my rear view mirror any more from idiots that ride with their brights on behind me.

I'm guessing it's an LCD readout for the battery voltage or something like the pic below? If so, that can be changed, but PITA and not worth the time. I'd try to find a red one if possible. Now if it's LEDs that light up (like on the sides of my cap), that'd be just swapping them out. Though if you're going from blue to red, you will need a resistor to drop the voltage down from 3.4v to 2v on each LED.

Ah, probably not worth it. But thanks. 5% isnt too bad you say? Then thats probably the route I'll go. What about turning at night? Ever come close to hitting a curb or something? Just some of the things I hear.

This is the amp btw, the display looks similar to our odometers...

I'm thinking leave it as blue. Looks similar to our odometers and if you take it apart you'll see if it's LEDs or not and go from there.

I'd do 5% in a heartbeat all around. It does take a little getting use to, make turns I'm sitting more up and watching what I'm doing. I've never hit a crub in this car or my old 93, knock on wood. I personally like 5%, privacy rocks!!

There are some past incarnations of my car in there - the subwoofers are mounted in my doors - here was a build photo:

Actually, here is another old incarnation of my hatch:

And another...

So glad I quit competition... Changing things is enough to drive a sane mane nuts.

It's a beautiful thing. There are a couple set ups on here though that seem to have NO room for the tops, so either that person has a vert, hardtop, or a different place to keep them. lol

Yeah... It was crazy. That was all within two seasons of competition too, if you'd seen the rest of the seasons (which I have on CD somewhere, no longer on a computer) you'd think I really jumped off the deep end.

I don't miss the 2+ hour drives to a show, the late nights with no sleep trying to test and tune, and the empty wallet from all of it at all.

I have a hardtop, but the latest incarnation of my car actually allows for the use of my hatch. (Excluding the fact I have 10" subwoofers built into my doors, it's farily easy to accomplish.)

This amp rack was built to take the place of the spare tire (which is an impartial photo, the actual amp rack has two amps stacked on each other and there is enough room in that cavity to do so):

The flat part you see present just rests on the hump in the back and you bolt it down. There seems to be enough room there to do just about anything reasonable as I fit my Pioneer P9 processor, two A/D/S/ P650.2's, all the fusing and wiring without much hassle.

Do that then put a small woofer in the opposing side and you should retain it, but seems like a lot of people need the extra rattle from multiple woofers, which throws the idea out the window.

Again, ignore that W0 in the middle it's been since long replaced with a identical W3v2. The tops slide right in that slit.

Yeah i thought the same thing when i installed it. But they do, even with a couple of towels between them. They are not latched in like the factory set-up but they fit really snug. On subthump.com they have pics with the t-tops installed if any of you would like to see them.

I got ya bud.

They look like they fit just fine. Another great thing about that box is that the little flip cover still hides them, so its one less thing to worry about.
