Ive always heard breaking in a motor was just to get all the valves seated. I "broke in" the new motor in the stang just because the guy who built it told me to lol. The sub is rated at 1200w max and 600w rms and my amp is a kicker zx750.1 mono that factory tested 932w, I have the gain set about 65%, bass boost at about 65% then I control it with a bass remote in my glovebox. I turn it down for rock, up for rap, ect.. Pretty cool to have the remote. Im gonna post some pics just for the hell of it to let you guys see my sweet install
