Default a few questions....

ok i know my share about systems but i wanted to come here and ask the audio guru's about the T/A's system a few questions. i have an 01 ws6 with the monsoon system in it. the sail panels were of course blown. what are some good speakers that i can replace with the stock ones? i have heard that the infinities are pretty nice but i want to go with someone that has had something. what i want to do is put 1 12" Kicker L7 in my hatch but still keep the t-top holder in its place. also i haven't really taken a look under where i can squeeze the power thru any rubber grommets on the firewall. i was wondering if anyone had any pictures of where i can go thru neat and clean like my last few cars. also i have the jensen 7 inch in dash in case you need to know. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks!

For your sail panels I would have to reccomend going with a replacement set of stockers, I believe they are the best bang for the buck....Now if you want to spend $150+ on a set for them then Pioneer and JL both my nice ones by what I've heard but if you're like me and on a tight budget just look on ebay and get you a some new OEM ones for $35 a piece.

well form what I've read and exprienced in my 90 camaro, a good set of front component 6.5 and a sub would give you a great soundstage and also outperform the stock monsoon. You could run a 4 channel amp to both.

mccollum, thats a sweet looking ride

If you are going to add a sub, forget about the sail panel speakers. A 12 will way outperform them. Just unplug them or rewire for coaxs if you like rear fill.
For the power wire, there is a hole in the fire wall on the passenger side behind the PCM. It's down low and comes out inside the car behind the kick panel. You will have to wiggle the PCM out of the way, but it's not too hard. The grommet is big enough to take pretty much any guage wire. I ran 4 guage with plenty of room.
