where is the engine speed wire? shift light install

where is the engine speed wire? shift light install I just bought a raptor shift light for my 2001 z28 m6.
I was wondering which wire is the engine speed wire, under the dash board that I splice into?
yeah raptors website, says which pin and the color but where is at under the dash!

it's under the hood in my 02,i'm sure your's is there,probably anyways.look next to the firewall and there should be 2 gray looking rectangular units with a gray cover with a bunch of wires going into them.hope that helps.

You cannot splice into the wire going to the factoy tach in/under the dash. You have to tap into the PCM under the hood. You have to tap into the white wire coming from PIN #10.
