quick question
quick question Hey how do I take this piece out? It might be very simple but seems to be hold from somewhere and I dont want to break it by accident, somebody spilled coke on it and want to take it out and clean it

Its kind of a bitch the first time. If you break it it will probably be in the upper right hand side. The thin area on the passenger's side before the cup holder. To the right of the ash tray.
THere are two screws holding it in the center console (under the coin holder if you have one). I'd recommend taking the complete center console out the first time, so you can see it and the clips from the underside.

In addition to the screws in the console compartment you will have to remove the shift **** in order remove the console top panel. Turn the ignition to the ON position (but don't start the car) and shift the transmission into low. You will find a clip that is like a large staple in the front side of the shift ****. Use a small flat-blade screwdriver to pry out the clip and the **** will slide off.
, that was easy, but It was going to take me a while to figure out how to remove the shift ****
