Default Guages, Importance.

Ok, I know I might not need them all but I want three gauges for the side of my car. I love guages. Just love. Love seeing everything move as I let off the gas and so forth. But I also want the most important ones on there. I at the moment have a A/F guage and was thinking of getting a pyrometer/egt guage... are there any other guages that are important or you guys think are just a good thing to have. I know the A/F is really useful, especially if you put on headers. Anyways just looking for your guys input, thanks.

Actually, the air/fuel gauge is really useless- it is more or less just a light show and not really accurate at all. And as far as the EGT gauge goes, that is more for guys running turbo(s). But do whatever you want and what looks good to you. I will be running water temp and oil temp. You might want to consider water temp as the factory one in your car isn't very accurate.

a/f is important if your using nitrous. Make sure you using a wideband for the sensor.

You may want to consider a fuel pressure guage too if your running any kind of power adder.

Exactly, a wideband A/F gauge is accurate, not like the lightshows that autometer sells.

they actually do make one. Make sure it's this one if you do.

For the answer, you can replace the lc-1 when tuning with hptuners or any other that accepts an input. I asked here and the lc-1 is a bosch wideband sensor also, lol.
