factory cd player???
It's not worth the hassle of dealing with it. A 2002 or older radio could work but you'd have to have the vehicle side of the radio plug and hack it into your 85's wiring. You're better off buying an aftermarket radio with a plug in wire harness. Less cutting and splicing and headaches. Plus you'll have a better sounding radio with more features.

yes i would say buy a new one but if you wanted you could buy a wire harness for the 85 and a reverse for the other vehicle wire them togeather (match colors) and your done it just plugs in... my buddy has monsoon hu in his old *** s10
