Default MP3 Changer FM Modulation
I was planning on getting a Xplod 10 disc changer with a fm modulator on it. Any opinions about getting this kind of changer?

Ive had experience with FM modulators in the past. To me they're all garbage, you'll notice a definite difference between a modulator and direct connect. Are you wiring this to a stock CD player?

Yeah thats what I had in mind cause I wanted to keep the stock Monsoon player and just add the MP3 Changer. Is the sound bad?

Im looking for a way to avoid using it. IMO if your an audiophile you will hate it. Its like listening to a record.

What year is your car. 2000 on up cd players can use an hard adapter.

Yes, except that the XPlod doesn't have RCA output to connect to the adapter.

So would it just be better to get an aftermarket MP3 player and ditch the Monsoon?
