I am going to guess the answer is no. A larger horn means more decibels which in turn implies more current draw. If the wiring in the stock system is rated for X amps and you put X+1 amps through you will fry the wires and may even start a fire.

just use a relay and you will be fine. actually tie in the relay and keep your existing horn for more impact.

I did the install today, DAMN!! I love it!! I ended up keeping the stock horn and putting the air horn on a momentary button so I didnt have to blow every one away all of the time. Thanks for all the help, easy install, works great!!

I did everything in the front right area of the bumper, where the stock horns were. The compressor was difficult to mount but i put that more on the side in the same area. Apologize to everyone, I dont have any way to get a sound clip or vid its great, I can drive down the street and honk at someone half a block away when their pulling out of the driveway and theyll stop and look while i drive by easy install once i figured out where to put everything. dont take out the headlight, do it from underneath.

I put a Whelen Air Horn in my Cavalier.. Complete with PA, etc... Same thing the Police cars use... Definately gets attention but I imagine one which requires a compressor would be ALOT louder...

You can get those really cheap from JC Whitney too. Prices range from like $30 to a couple hundred And one of the cheaper ones is like 135 dB- thats not quiet... good for a budget blaster.

EDIT--
Here is the link JC Whitney air horns
