Default Need help with 2 things..

Hey guys i havent been on the boards for about 2 months now so first i want to say hello. anyways...

I am going to buy an I-pod soon and i have a slight problem. The 2 things i need help with are... I want to keep my factory head unit to keep the stock look but add an I-pod AND a subwoofer. How would i go about doing this? I dont have the CD changer port on the back of my HU cuz its a 98 so ill have to find a newer one, but after that, how would i add a subwoofer and have an i-pod hooked up all at the same time? thanks guys!

For adding a sub i would sugest what i did. I installed a line output convertor which adds RCA outputs for an amp from your headunit. The LOC cost $21 from circuit city. Im very happy with mine and I like the look of having a sleeper system. The convertor splices into your wiring so youll still be able to hook up your ipod using the cd changer port without a problem. Theres wiring diagrams on this site that will tell you what colored wires to use. For the ipod setup look around on ebay. I actually was just able to buy the adaptor for $1 on ebay a few days ago!
