Is this any good?
Hey guys, right now im researchin which amp to get to power my future alpine type-R speakers and type-S sub. The HIFONICS ZXI8006 fits my needs perfectly with 55 rms at 4 ohm for the speakers and 300 rms at 2 ohm for the sub. It also comes with a 2 year warranty so i figured it must not be a piece of **** lol. Anyone ever had any experience with it or know ne feedback about it?

I have used this amp before .. good item for mid range volume ... does not get loud or hit real hard but makes for a "nice system" amp. As far as quality these are good amps very few go back with out user error.

the type-s is gonna be 10 inches in the sealed subthump stealth box. Will that amp actually suply the 300 watts it says and although u say it does not get loud or hit read hard will it still be a crisp hit or am i wasting my time with it. Im not lookin to shatter the back window lol, thats why im just getting 1 10 inch stealth box, but i do like it to pound alittle.

in my last car i had the type-S (300 rms) in a sealed box being powered by an alpine mono amp giving it somewhere between 300-350 watts and it rocked. I'd love to do the same setup again but the 5 channel amp just seams so much easier. I guess a good question for me to gauge the loudness of the bass you are talkin about is, will that amp shake the rearview mirror? lol
