Default GD BLINKERS WONT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a couple of problems. I have cussed damn park light (left front) and the blinker till I am red in the face. I have had problems with my park light gettin condensation in it before and I usually dry it out and then I put another buld in it and it works fine. It seems that the bulb has blown for the last time. I went to change the bulb today and it wont work. I tried to use the blinker and it didn't blink at first and then it kind of fluttered. I think it is the flashers but I couldn't find one(I took most of the dash out looking for it). I guess I'm going to take that to the dealership and have it fixed.
But what could be the problem with the park light? It seems to have some rust and corrosion on it. What could I use to get rid of it?

TIA!

A lot of the time bakingsoda and water will help corrosion. Does your rear blinker work (If it works I doubt it is your flasher unit)? Do you have a test light? Try turning the blinker on and use the test light were the buld should go. See if you get any thing. Just a thought.

The Park light started working last night!!!!!!!!!!!!! I dunno what happened but it started working! But the blinkers still don't work right. The back and the front seem to work now but the reaction is delayed and they still flicker pretty bad. I am gunna try to get it to the Dealership next week and see if I can find out where the flashers are. Its running me ape ****!

Take it to the dealer if its under warranty. If not then you may need to buy new housings and lights.

warrantie is LOOONNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGG gone..... it sucks too! I think everything is sorted out but the dern flashers(not the emergency flashers.... th ones that make the blinkers go blink blink)<--- that sounded stupid! You wouldn't happen to know where they are would you?

Have you tried Bulb grease yet? I have the same problem and that definately helped <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> Also try taking an emory board and cleaning the contacts in the socket some <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I have had the same problem when its raining every few months a front blinker (daytime running lamp) will go out. Somehow water is getting in there and blowing the bulb, I changed mine today and noticed the housing where the bulb plugs in is kinda burned, but i put some grease on the new bulb and slapped it in and it worked, I also greased the shitty gasket in an effort to keep moisture out. If it keeps happening im gonna have to get new housing's which dont look like fun to change =)
