What you think about my setup

What you think about my setup Well I wanted a very good sounding system without dipping huge into my pocket. So here's what I got:
Alpine 7894 (great HU and will power speakers)
Infinity Reference 652i (Front and middle speakers)
I'll have the install finished tomorrow, I think it will sound great when I'm done... so far I tested my setup with only the 1 speaker in the passanger side door and it sounded sweet as hell.
In about a yr I was thinkin about runnin the speakers off a seperate amp and adding a sub... but like I said not till next yr (Need money for bills ect..).

Re: What you think about my setup Well I finished it last night, and it sounds sooo clear. They get pretty loud even with bass turned up... but with alot of volume and bass they tend to vibrate to much. These speakers are meant more for clarity then bass which explains that, but they hold a good amount of bass without distortion.
Now if I turn the bass to zero and add a sub, my setup would sound very loud, clear, and much bass <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> ... but if you don't have the money for a good sub and amp at the momonet (like me), then these will be perfect till I do have $$$ to get a sub <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> .

Re: What you think about my setup You can get an infinity Reference 12" sub for about $90 unless you find an open box deal. That sub will handle almost any amp you can throw at it. I've got mine running off of a MTX 450W amp now until I can afford a more powerful amp, that amp set me back $200... It still hits VERY hard though. You whould be able to get a decent setup for around $300
