Equalizer I want to know if it is possible, and what all is entailed to install an eq in a monsoon equipped vehicle. I don't know if I want to replace the whole set up yet, but the HU that's in my ride does not have a built in eq and the preset modulations they have in the HU absolutly suck.
Re: Equalizer Seeing as most EQ's on the market now require RCA jacks from the receiver it will be some what of a challange. Your best bet is to buy a new receiver and an EQ if you want to do it.
Other wise you would need to convert the output of the Monsoon to RCA's with PAC's then in to the EQ. From there, you would have to convert it back from RCA's to standard speaker cable. The level of output the EQ puts out might not be strong enough for the factory amp to pull off of to give you any real volume.
My suggestion is to put another receiver in as you will save yourself major headaches.
