Default curse the monsoon

i'm trying to put the stereo back in my trans am and the guy who had it before me replaced the rear 6 3/4 speakers with jensens. he just used 2 of the 4 wires for each. could anyone tell me what the speakers need 4 wires for and why in the heck only a faint amount of bass comes from these speakers while every thing else works fine? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

It uses 4 wires cause it has dual voice coils. The faint sound is cause it's getting half the power it should if you are only using one pair of wires.

And I couldn't agreee more, the Monsoon is a pile of crap!
