Default dome overide

is there a dome overide on 2002 z28? sometimes ya jus wanna ride at night with your parking lights and halos on, everyone told me turn your headlights on and off 3 times real quick but that **** dont work.

I dont think you mean "dome overirde".
"Dome override" turns on the dome light with the doors closed. To do that, turn up the dash light dimmer dial all the way up.

If you want to disable the auto-lights...
Find the light sensor by the large defroster vent in the middle of the dash and short the two wires together. If you want to just be able to override the auto-lights and not completely disable them, put a switch in-line with one of the wires running to the sensor. Since that circuit is resistance-base, make sure those connections are good.

If you want to drive with just the parking lights and fog lights....
Don't turn on your headlights. Turn the **** only to the first "parking light" position. At least thats the way it works on the Firebird. On a Camaro though, you'll have to disable the auto-lights for this to work. (Does the Camao headlight **** have a "parking lights" setting like the Firebird?) Now, having your halos on at the same time depends on how you wired them.
