Turning singnals went out! HELP! Is there a fuse or something that needs to be replaced? Where can find it on the car? Where can I get a new one? Please help me out before I get a ticket. Thanks.

Re: Turning singnals went out! HELP! Have you driven through any water lately, puddles etc.? I've been losing one turn signal or hte other lately, and after some looking, I found that water was getting into the socket for the bulb. Eventually this corroded (sp) the contacts on the bulb, therefore, no light. I tried cleaning the socket and spraying it with silicone lubricant. Anyone else having this problem?

Re: Turning singnals went out! HELP! I have thought about siliconing arouind the bulb after I put it in the socket, but I have yet to try it. Just something to keep the water out. BTW, if it didn't blow the bulb, it may have corroded the leads on the bulb. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />
Re: Turning singnals went out! HELP! I'm having this same problem with my 2001 Z-28. There's water in the lense. I'm gonna get the clear corners. But when the bulb gets hot then the water sloshes on it the heat and water makes the glass on the bulb break. I'm starting to really get irritated with changing that bulb. I guess I'll have to change it till I find the clear lenses.....

Re: Turning singnals went out! HELP! They're fixed! I went to check if everything wa cool, and it was. I pulled out of my buddy's driveway and he looked at the car all funny. He said, your front sidemarker just went out! DAMN! I went to replace it and the bulb cracked in half! <img border="0" alt="[Banging Head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" /> I was pissed, so I ended up replacing every bulb except for the headlights (Knock on wood).
